Our Story

Our Boutiques story begins with a movie, “You’ve Got Mail”.  It is a must watch if our store is to make sense to you.  The Boutique, like the movie, is more than a romance.  It is a tale of a dream to make a shop not just a store, but a community within.  A local shop to find home décor, candles, books, and so much more.  People finding the perfect gifts, employees becoming friends, a dream realized from the heart.  And we do have a store dog, it’s not Brinkly, but Midge the Doodle.

Dawne Ramshaw, our store owner, has always enjoyed making her personal home lovely.  Whether it be décor for the current season, baking treats for the family, or celebrating life’s occasions, these elements made her house a home.  Ramshaw’s Home Boutique is an extension of all the things Dawne loves in a home; a manifestation of a dream come true.  It’s her version of walking on to her own movie set or opening the pages of a fabulous book showcasing a lovely family, a beautiful home, and a dream larger than life!
