December seems to be a month filled with festivities and nostalgia. Whether it be children’s Christmas programs, holiday parties, celebrations with family, or reminiscing of years gone by, it is truly the most wonderful time of the year!
I find this month to be a mix of the anticipation of Christmas morning with a desire to slow my days down, wanting to savor the last days of the year. This is also true to my boutique. I do the majority of my buying for the holidays in January. As my team unpacks new items to fill our store with all the things that are offered to bring Christmas into your home, I am thrilled to see who buys that sweet little nativity or special ornament for a gift exchange. My hearts desire is to savor this month that I’ve spent the year curating, but find that it tends to be the one that flies by the quickest!
So, can we all take a moment and stop to enjoy what December brings? Would you take time to give yourself the gift of reminiscing on holidays of the past, along with being present as we gather with friends and loved ones? The boutique is a place that I hope brings us together to share our holiday traditions, start new ones and gives you a bit of a reprieve from all of the hustle and bustle.
